About the Session

The number one regret of people at the end of their lives is this: "I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the lives others expected of me." It's kind of like we're living our lives on mute and silencing what we need, want, think, and feel at work and at home out of fear of what other people will think of us. As a result, we end up feeling stuck, unfulfilled and even burned out. When we silence ourselves, we're more likely to experience depression, marital problems and even an increased risk of certain diseases. Living our lives on mute has a ripple effect across every area of our lives, and it affects both men and women.

What if it didn't have to be that way? What if we could get unstuck and unmuted, activate our energy, and feel more fulfilled, joyfully alive, confidently self-expressed, and deeply connected? In this preconference experience, you will be invited on a transformational journey of reflection and connection to craft a vision for what an unmuted life looks like for you. You will leave this experience with the clarity, courage and an actionable plan you'll need to boldly "unmute" five elements of the unmuted life.

Learning Objectives

  1. Identify specific steps you can take to get unstuck and unmuted at work and beyond.
  2. Engage in reflective exercises and meaningful conversations that activate insight, energy, and connection.
  3. Learn how to confidently and courageously unlock the power of self-expression, so you feel seen, heard, and joyfully alive.
